Lindsey Neeley

Fresh to Paducah by way of Chattanooga: Meet our new friend Lindsey Neeley, 25! She may be a registered dietitian, but she doesn’t mind a good burger and beer every once in awhile!

Lindsey Neeley, you are cute, cute, cute, no doubt about it! Here we go!

1. I just recently moved back to the Paducah area after living and working in beautiful Chattanooga for a year.
   
   
2. My family and close friends all live in Nashville, and I frequently take road trips there.
   
   
3. Go Titans Go! (I am still a Titans fan no matter how rocky the start of the season is.)
   
   
4. I like to think of myself as creative and artistic, but I couldn’t sing in tune, write a poem or paint a good picture if my life depended on it.
   
   
5. I love to travel. My dream is to travel somewhere new every year.
   
   
6. I am somewhat of a beer connoisseur. I love trying any and all kinds of beer and visiting breweries.
   
   
7. I believe in the saying: “Truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave and impossible to forget,” but when you do find them, you are the most blessed person in this world. I know this from firsthand experience.
   
   
8. I’ve held many jobs until I finally found one I can live with now. Some of those included: vet assistant, waitress, nanny and balloon artist. That was the worst.
   
   
9. I now work as a registered dietitian and travel all around Kentucky, Tennessee and Illinois working in nursing homes, with young children and in dialysis clinics.
   
   
10. Just because I am registered dietitian, doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy a good hamburger or steak every once in a while (or probably more than I know I should).
    
    
11. I am a complete dog lover even though I currently don’t own one. I might possibly become the crazy dog lady when I’m old instead of the crazy cat lady.
    
    
12. I ran cross country and track in college and am looking for a running partner in Paducah if anyone is interested.
    
    
13. I am running the Atlanta and Nashville half marathons in March and April. I don’t have a desire to ever do a full marathon but I do have a goal to compete and finish at least one mini triathlon.
    
    
14. I have random people tell me my eyes are my best feature. They are green but have yellow and orange in them.
    
    
15. I am the middle child of three girls all with the same initials: L.E.N.
    
    
16. Swimming with manatees is one of my random tasks on my bucket list. I tried to go once but a storm came.
    
    
17. Skydiving is NOT on my bucket list. I am deathly afraid of heights but love to fly. That may not make sense to most people, but it makes sense to me!
    
    
18. I am a celebrity gossip magazine junkie. My friends and I all buy different issues and trade them off even though they all have the same pictures and fake stories. But they are still entertaining!
    
    
19. I have naturally curly hair that I fight some days with a straightener. I’m beginning to accept the fact that my curls will never be straight.
    
    
20. I love playing bar games. I played in a table shuffleboard tournament every Wednesday night when I was in school in Alabama. I am always up for and available for a challenging game of darts.
