Reuben McNeil

One of my favorite persons on the planet, Reuben McNeil (just one L, not two). He’s very well rounded considering what a gigantic dork he is. He always answers my inane questions about the latest super hero movie, and will admit rather freely that he likes Lady Gaga.

Fun facts about the Reub

1. As most people who know me know, I am a huge comic fan, owning roughly 2000 comics and assorted trades and graphic novels as well as more toys than most children.
   
   
2. I own every Nintendo gaming console from the NES to the Wii.
   
   
3. I’m a big fan of shoes and sadly I like to coordinate them with tshirt I am wearing that day. I even have a pair with my name on them.
   
   
4. I have had chicken pox 3 seperate times.
   
   
5. I have several fears including clowns, heights, and especially birds. In my 30 years I have been flogged by numerous fowl including a wild turkey, pooped on more times than I like to remember and kicked by an emu…an EMU!
   
   
6. I have a huge love for The Protomen. They are a concept band from Murfreesboro, Tn. and based their albums on Megaman. They are geniuses and they rock my socks off.
   
   
7. I have an upper arm devoted to Zelda in tattoo form because I want the ladies to get excited.
   
   
8. I refuse to learn another language amd managed to graduate high school with zero foreign language credits…suck it Graves County.
   
   
9. I could eat wings for breakfast, lunch and dinner…and then have them as a late night snack.
   
   
10. One day when I become rich I am going to own a fleet of 1995 Ford Crown Vics and paint them up to represent things I love including a Master Sword, a ninja turtle, a Mario cart ,etc.
    
    
11. I work in the general public and have for many many years despite a massive dislike for said general public.
    
    
12. I don’t like to sleep. I view it as a waste of time time and generally run on about 4-5 hours a night through the week and about 3 on the weekend.
    
    
13. My Dad is the most awesome man I know and my hero.
    
    
14. I love Cherry RC and in my opinion it is the best cherry soda on the market.
    
    
15. I’ve never watched a full episode of any of the classic 50’s tv shows i.e. I Love Lucy, Bewitched, Leave it to Beaver, etc. And I have no plans on doing so.
    
    
16. I have a love of a lot of movies but I secretly love certain “chick flicks” such as The Notebook, Love Actually, The Wedding Date etc. Please don’t judge me.
    
    
17. I am a big fan of redheads despite never actually dating one.
    
    
18. Almost every night at 9 pm you can find my friends and I outside the 5-star gas station by PCC having a soda and hanging out…or loitering depending on how you see it.
    
    
19. I cry in movies but in movies you wouldn’t expect tears in such as the end of Return of the King and the train scene in Spiderman 2. Im a nerd I know.
    
    
20. Reuben left his 20th fact up to me, and I will say this: Though he may never own up to it, he’s actually one of the sweetest guys I know. He’s a great friend and excellent listener. Plus, he will bring you awesome bumper stickers from his nerd cons :)
