1. Tell me a little about yourself. Where are you from? What are you doing now? Where are you headed?
I was born and raised in West Paducah and have lived here all my life. Currently, I work at a residential treatment facility for at-risk youth. As for where I’m headed? Well to quote Mr. Bilbo Baggins, “It’s a dangerous business going out your front door. You step into the road, and if you don’t keep your feet, there’s no knowing where you might be swept off to.”
2. Let’s say a handsome man invites you into his home. What would you hope to see when you walked through the door? What would you NOT want to see?
PERSONALITY…and perhaps a cute dog! Hopefully, I wouldn’t see guns and animal heads hanging all over the walls.
3. It appears that you’re an avid reader. What’s your desert island book—the one book you’d take with you if you knew you were going to be stranded with it for the rest of your life—and why?
A survival guide of course….so that I could…survive.
4. You also like to cook. What’s the most romantic meal you could create for someone special?
I was taught to cook by my grandparents, so my specialty is made from scratch down home cooking, which is probably pretty romantic to most guys!
5. Fill in the blanks: “I am always _____________, but I will never be ___________.”
I am always compassionate, and I will never betray a confidence…unless you’re a serial killer!
6. What’s the first thing you would hope a guy would notice about you?
My wonderful and shining personality, of course! But since we all know that men—or humans in general—are visual creatures, I would say my smile or my eyes, because they are my favorite features.
7. Do you have any odd collections, strange hobbies, or guilty pleasures? You know you do!
I have a habit of collecting random things here and there that mean something to me. I have a cigar box full of seemingly useless objects and scraps of paper that I’ve been adding to for the last 10 years. As far as odd quirks go, I have this ridiculous thing about having to have the same amount of change in each pocket.
8. If you could swap places with any one OBJECT for a day, what would you swap with, and why?
Jack Black’s underoos…no explanation necessary.
9. What’s one thing you can do really well?
Make people smile…and make granola!
10. Let’s say you own a shiny red canoe, and that canoe has a bumper sticker. What does the sticker say?
“Slippery when wet.”
