iLove it

Sherona Crim

alt text

Whether she’s worshipping at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, enjoying a night out with the Red Hat Dolls or gathering news and photos for her fabulous Diversity on the Go news source, Sherona Crim loves her life and her Lord!

Sherona Crim, you are cute, cute cute, no doubt about it! Wanna know more about my Sherona? Come a little closer:

  1. Yes, I know the Knack’s My Sherona song. And yes, I used to date one of the band members.

  2. OK, I really didn’t date one of the band members, but that would be a good story, wouldn’t it?

  3. I was born and raised in Paducah.

  4. I went into a coma when I was 11 years old. No one knew what was wrong with me — they thought I had the flu. The doctors thought I wouldn’t make it.

  5. I came out of the coma after a week and was finally diagnosed with diabetes.

  6. I truly love the Lord and am a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.

  7. I grew up singing and sing every fifth Sunday as part of my church Praise Team.

  8. I love attending Heavenly Seniors, even though I’m not old enough yet. We meet at the Ninth Street Tabernacle for a church service and lunch each Tuesday at 11 a.m.

  9. I have one son, a daughter-in-law and one granddaughter.

  10. My son’s name is Raymond Noah III — everyone calls him Three. He sings in the “Totally Dedicated” gospel choir in Louisville.

  11. Everyone who has known me since I was small calls me KayeKaye — that’s my middle name.

  12. I’m a member of the Red Hat Dolls, and my nickname with that group is “Many Task Mama.”

  13. I love the Red Hat Dolls. We meet once a month for dinner and various activities. Look for us in the Holiday Parade Saturday, Dec. 5!

  14. I love cardmaking and scrapbooking. Check out my blog!

  15. I have my camera and take pictures everywhere I go.

  16. alt textRosa Scott and I are co-publishers of Diversity on the Go, a monthly community news source. We promote events and inspire readers to get involved in the community.

  17. I stopped smoking three years ago — cold turkey. It was hard. It’s still hard.

  18. That next month I had to have triple by-pass surgery.

  19. I am a member of various organizations including the Interracial Women’s Group.

  20. I love this time of the year and pray to have the kind of Christmas I’ve always dreamed about before I leave this world.

  21. I wonder if it’s meant for me to spend my life by myself and if not, where are the single, older men!
