Udderly Moo-velous: The Stranded Cow Turns One!

Grace Clemency and her team at The Stranded Cow most definitely prove that when you serve good food, folks around here will keep coming back for more!

This week marks the first anniversary of The Stranded Cow. It was during Quilt Week last year that Grace and her team opened the doors to their newly restored – and very famous – Cow House. Since then, they've served countless ’37 Flood sandwiches, chopped chicken salads, egg pies, homemade soups and baked bread pudding as good as your grandmama makes!

"It's been a wonderful year," Grace says, as she gears up for a very busy Quilt Week. "We have some changes and struggles like any restaurant. But overall, people's reaction is the same: we serve really good food."

This week, The Stranded Cow is open every day, 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Call for dinner reservations – 575.0020. Just show up for breakfast and lunch.

The Stranded Cow is available for private parties, meetings, women's nights out and various classes. The main room seats about 30 folks and a smaller room in the back seats about 16. There's also room for about 18 on the porch.

Sign up for Grace's email newsletter to learn about Cooking with Tomi classes, Grace's signature "dot" art classes and her bead wrapping classes. She's also planning little girls' tea parties.

Congratulations to The Stranded Cow!
