Heart & Soul: Easter Seals Sixth Annual Art Auction and Show

alt text

Join artists from Easter Seals West Kentucky and the staff of presenting partner Independence Bank for an unforgettable evening of ART on Thursday, September 29th from 6 – 8 p.m. at LowerTown Paducah’s Madison Hall. The evening will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres provided by Culinary Art students and Chef Patrick Fletcher from West Kentucky Community and Technical College, as well as libations.

Nancy Loving,  2011 Heart & Soul Featured Artist

Heart & Soul also features a live and silent art auction featuring the works of local artists and Easter Seals adults. Artwork is expertly framed making each piece a one of a kind addition to your home.

Easter Seals West Kentucky is proud to introduce the 2011 featured artist, Nancy Loving, for the upcoming “Heart & Soul” Art Celebration.  Nancy is a Paducah resident who has been active in the ESWKY art program since its inception back in 2006.

“I’m a sunshine artist” she says, which is reflected in her favorite subject- butterflies.  Nancy loves taking art classes.  She says she loves to paint because she feels it gives her freedom to express herself.  She combines processes and media.  She turns 2-dimensional pieces into mixed media pieces with the addition of everyday items giving her artwork an almost ethereal appearance.

Nancy has a number of interests and non-stop positive energy to pursue them all.  She divides her time between her favorite activities including art, choir, and cheer-leading.

Nancy’s work is on display at Paducah’s City Hall alongside many area artists from September 7 – October 3, 2011. Nancy has also been given the honor of having her work on display at the Yeiser during the YAC Member Show. The YAC exhibit will be November 5 – December 17, 2011.
