Everybody loves the Charity League Follies, and everybody loves music from the 1970s! Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves! Leavin’ on a Jet Plane! That song the Brady Bunch kids sang as the Silver Platters on the Pete Sterne Amateur Hour!
You can enjoy the best of both at this year’s Follies, set for 6:30 p.m., Saturday, March 29, at Tilghman Auditorium. Called Have a Nice Day!, the show features singing and dancing by veteran Market House performers, community members and Charity League members, themselves. Market House’s Michael Cochran is this year’s director.
The show benefits Easter Seals of West Kentucky just as it has since the Follies started in 1952. The show only comes around once every couple of years, so don’t miss it! Groove on, Charity League!
Here are some pix from last week’s rehearsals:

Leann Stilley keeps the group rollin’!
If you’ve heard her sing before, you know Cheri Paxton has one of the most beautiful voices on the planet!
