Men Who Cook: Saturday, March 13
Who doesn’t love ‘em some Men Who Cook?
This Purchase Area Sexual Assault & Child Advocacy Center fundraiser is a community favorite, set for 7 p.m., Saturday, March 13, at the Convention/Expo Center. Don’t miss this fun-filled evening of tailgating, great food, festive drinks, live broadcasts of NCAA basketball tournaments and PASAC’s famous children’s art auction — all to support PASAC’s work to end violence.
“We provide services to all victims of any type of sexual crime — regardless of their age,” says PASAC’s gorgeous Executive Director Mary Foley. “Since we’re funded by grants and donations, Men Who Cook is critical to our agency. We hope everyone will come out to support PASAC and our wonderful chefs.”
Celebrity chefs from local businesses, community groups and political arenas wear their own decorated aprons, prepare great dishes and desserts and serve them from their sports-themed tables. See the full list of chefs, lower right.
Tix are $35 or $60 for two. And be sure to purchase a $10 all-night drink ticket. To purchase, call PASAC, 270.534.4422.
Be sure to stop by these iList Paducah favorites!

Why He’s a Man Who Cooks: I’m happy to support an agency that has done so much to assist the Kentucky State Police. This event is important because it helps raise money to keep PASAC afloat. Plus, this agency is the voice of a lot of children who are afraid to speak. By its continued existence, PASAC will continue to offer children a place of comfort in unsettling times.
