Paducah 48 Hour Film Project Public Screenings

alt text

Come see what the teams came up with in just 48 hours!

The 48 Hour Film Project is a wild and sleepless weekend in which a local team makes a movie—write, shoot, edit and score it—in just 48 hours.

Last weekend WAS that weekend! Last Friday night, the following teams gathered at Maiden Alley Cinema:

  • A GOODSIZE PRODUCTIONS, John Holt
  • Angier/Borden Films, Matthew Forte
  • Apocalypse Meow, Cory Greene
  • Attaboy Pictures, Sheloa Nichols
  • Dismal Dan, Daniel Yocum
  • Distinguished Catfish, Jon Walker
  • Escapist Pictures, Austin Madding
  • MetalMouth Productions, Rachel Benzing
  • Pixel Pear, Eric Mittan
  • Provision Production, Kelin Field
  • Spooky Clem Production, Jeff Gentner
  • Tinker Lives!, Laura Petrie
  • The Unknown Associates, Ben Sample

And then each team leader chose a character, a prop, a line of dialogue and a genre – all to include in their movie.

Elements

Character: Lloyd or Laura Flowers, Gambler
Prop: safety glasses
Line of Dialogue: “You know what they say.”

48 hours later, the movie was complete. Join us this week and take a gander:
