The American Red Cross provides relief to victims of disasters and helps people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies locally and nationally. The Carson Center makes the life-changing power of the performing arts part of the fabric of our region. Since the Center opened in 2004, more than 665,000 people from 49 states have visited this beautiful gathering place for 1,700+ performances and events. The Carson Center brings performers ranging from Bill Cosby to Jerry Seinfeld to Loretta Lynn to the Doobie Brothers, and Broadway musicals such as Mamma Mia!, close to home.
