Come to Noble Park for Two Noble Causes!
Stretch your legs Saturday, April 25, at Noble Park, for two great causes! The 3rd Annual FEAT on the Street 5K Run/Walk to fight autism and the 1st Annual Four Rivers Walk to Cure Diabetes. Here's the scoop:

It's year three for the FEAT on the Street 5K Run/Walk benefiting the Western Kentucky chapter of Families for Effective Autism Treatment (FEAT) and, this year, for goSoccer, a soccer team for athletes with a physical or mental disability.

FEAT of Western Kentucky was organized in the winter of 2006 by a small group of parents, including the lovely Tammi Halvorson. Check out the story we did on Tammi and the group's work here! Members meet regularly for guidance, support, encouragement and information to facilitate treatment for their children with autism.
Advanced registration $18, race day registration $25, one-mile youth run $5.

Attend the 1st Four Rivers Walk to Cure Diabetes! The event will raise awareness and funds for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International for use in research that will lead to a cure for diabetes and its complications. JDRF is the leading charitable funder and advocate of Type 1 diabetes research worldwide. To date, the group has provided more than $1.23 billion in direct funding to diabetes research.
