GoodTimes! Saturday, October 18, at Renaissance Lounge!

Looking for some GoodTimes? Find 'em Saturday, October 18, at Renaissance Lounge, starting at 9 p.m., and rockin' on to 3 a.m.

Contrary to rumors or popular demand, Jimmy “J.J. Walker” is not the Master of Ceremonies. That honor goes to D.J/Promoter extraordinaire Tony Foo Yong. TFY has brought together local favorites and traveling superstars.

Pete and Me
Pete Pan and I will warm things up with chill down-tempo beats outside in the beer garden around 9 p.m. Few in Paducah have benefitted more from the citywide smoking ban than Pete and me. We love having a captive audience of asthmatics-in-waiting.

Reiek Havoc
Meanwhile Reiek Havoc will get things going inside. If we’re lucky, Reiek will have the “Get Smart” theme song that he likes so much in his crate. Trust me, when he drops the needle on this one, you will not be looking for the “cone of silence.”

Spinn
Next up is Drum & Bass artist Spinn. Hailing from Carbondale, Spinn delivers originality and danceability to this rare Paducah gig. Not sure about what Spinn does? Check out his show “The Cycle” on bassdrive.com Fridays, 9 a.m.-Noon.

Scotty Mac
The headliner for the evening is St. Louis’ DJ Scotty Mac. Scotty plays jazz-influenced house music and includes elements of soul, funk and disco. Get ready to dance for Scotty, 'cause he is definitely ready to put you in the mood.

If this major evening of house music weren’t enough, you’ll have another big opportunity to hear the region’s best DJs on Friday, October 31. Mark your calendars, as Market Square Massacre, hosted by Toucan’s and Tribeca, will make 2nd Street in Paducah the only place to celebrate Halloween!
