For a HOWL’OWEENIE Good Time!

WREZ 105.5 The Cat and other fine sponsors in the community would like to raise awareness of the need for help with homeless animals in the area. The number of animals in shelters is rising due to economic pressures on families all over the country.
Wonderful pets, who have done nothing wrong, are waiting for new homes.
WREZ 105.5 The Cat will host the first Howl’oween in the Park on Saturday, Oct. 16. This event will be held in Stuart Nelson Park (the future site for the proposed Dog Park) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pet costume contests, pet look-alike contests, a pet parade, bobbing for Hallo-weenies, silent auctions and sponsor tables will be set up.
Local humane societies and no-kill shelters have been invited, and you will have the opportunity to meet pets available for adoption.
Sounds like a fun time for all!
