We Want Your Pets!

OK, Paducah pet people, it is time to share. You know that your cat/dog/bird/snake/turtle/lizard/fish is the coolest ever. You know how much your animal enriches your life.

So let the rest of us in on your secret! Tell us about your buddy. It’s easy. You can email me and let me know you have a worthy pet. What makes your pets worthy? Lots of things. Maybe they started out as El Destructo and now they’re Mr. Reliable. Maybe they helped someone in your family over a rough patch. Maybe they are just there for you every day.

We love stories about champions, like Chief (above), and we love hero stories like Buddy (below right). Everyone appreciates meeting a best friend like the late kitty named Puppy (left) who enriched her Sarah’s life throughout hers.

But what if your pet hasn’t pulled a baby from a burning building? Your pet is still special to *you* and iList Paducah readers are just waiting to hear why! Don’t worry if you aren’t the world’s next what’s-her-name-who-wrote-Harry-Potter. We’ll email you some basic questions and you can pick and choose which to answer. We’ll turn it into a story. We ask for four good photos — you can email them as well.

We — all of us who are fortunate enough — understand. We love to hear about other folks like us; it makes us smile and our hearts feel good.
