The Charity League of Paducah invites everyone to their second annual Paducah Bluegrass bash. This year it’s taking place on Saturday, April 20 at 6pm. The event will be held at Cassidy’s Cause, located at 6075 Clinton Rd in Paducah. It will be a celebration of everything that makes Kentucky a great place to live!
The Bluegrass Bash is a casual evening with a southern flair. The live music will be bluegrass and traditional Kentucky music. The signature Kentucky foods and spirits. There will be a bourbon tasting with the Paducah Bourbon Society and Wagner Wine & Spirits, as well as a live and silent auction. All proceeds benefit Easterseals West Kentucky.
Paducah-based band Wheelhouse Rousters will be the musical entertainment for the evening. They’ll be playing bluegrass and traditional Kentucky music. Wagner Wine & Spirits is the presenting sponsor.
The event will feature a silent and live auction that will feature mostly Kentucky-themed items. The highlight piece of the live auction is a custom Tim Jaeger horse painting, "Roustabout no. II," created especially for this event. Attendees can also bid on a guided hunt courtesy of Fowler Farms, and two St. Louis Cardinals baseball tickets.

In 2017, the first Paducah Bluegrass Bash event raised $53,417.25 for Easterseals West Kentucky, the most ever from a single Charity League fundraising event.
Charity League is excited to bring this event back for another year, with some exciting new changes!
The Charity League of Paducah has supported Easterseals West Kentucky, as well as other local non-profits that support the health, welfare and general care of women and children, for over 80 years. The Charity League consists of 50 women throughout the Paducah area who focus on fundraising for Easter Seals West Kentucky. This is a critical year for fundraising as Easterseals plans campus expansions.

The Charity League of Paducah was created in March 1932 when 16 young woman dedicated their efforts to opening a lending library. Today, the Charity League consists of 50 active members and several hundred associate members. The fundraising events have changed over time, however, traditions remain strong.
The mission of the non-profit, volunteer organization, the Charity League, Inc. is raising funds for Easterseals West Kentucky and assisting other local non-profits that support the health, welfare and general care of women and children.
Every New Year’s Eve, the Charity League hosts, Snowball. The spring event is then rotated between Bargain Fair, Golf Scramble, and Shine & Dine/Paducah Bluegrass Bash. The success of these fundraisers has allowed the Charity League to provide significant support to the Easterseals of West Kentucky and many other local charities.
